Finding your Google Places Store ID & Link Address
Knowing your Google Places Store ID & Link Address will allow you to create links to your Google Places page. This will come in handy if you want to link to your Places page from your website. You may want to send customers to your Google Places page to leave reviews or to see coupons for the business.
Business listings or profiles with Foursquare, Superpages.com, or Best of the Web allow you to link to your Google Places page as well by entering your Google Places Store ID.
In this Tutorial you will learn how to:
- Find your Google Places Store ID
- Add the Store ID to to a link template to create a custom link for your Google Places page
Step 1: Go to Google Places & Log in
Log into your Google Places account
Step 2: Select the Location
Select the Location that you want the Store ID for or the listing you want to Link to
Step 3: Identify Store ID in URL
Identify your Store ID in the URL of your Places Page
http://www.google.com/local/add/analytics?storeid=1234567890&hl=en-US&gl=US
Notice the part of the URL showing “storeid=1234567890“. The the 19 digits after the “=” up to the “&hl” is the store ID. Copy those numbers after the = sign and before the & sign.
Step 4: Store ID for Business Profiles
Bam! Now you have your Google Places Store ID. In the example above the Store ID is 7705421130354398129. You can add this info to your business listing/profile at Foursquare, Superpages.com, or Best of the Web.
Step 5: Find Link Address for Google Places Page
Go to your Google Places page and select “Link” in the upper right corner. Copy your link address.
Step 6: Add Google Places link to your website
Now you can add your Google Places link to your website to collect customer reviews or share you Google Places Coupons.

Actually the storeid is not the same as the cid. You cannot obtain your unique business listing ID this way, or at least it will not work. The way to obtain it is to search for your business on Google Maps, click on your listing, click “Link” in the upper right corner, and then you will see your actual cid.
