Google reviews are like traditional testimonials about a business. According to a Neilsen study in 2009, 90% of consumers online trust recommendations from people they know. 70% of consumers online trust recommendations from people that they don’t know.

You must be a Gmail user or set up a Gmail Account to leave a review about a business on Google Places.

In this tutorial you will learn how to:
- How to Review a Business on Google
Search for the business that you want to review on Google.com. Enter the business name and city and select “Search”

Select “Google Reviews” under the business that you want to review

You will be directed to the Google Places page, select “Write a Review”

You will be directed to sign in to your Gmail Account

After sign in, you will be directed to the reviews page. Leave your review as well as a rating (1-5 Stars) for the business and select “Publish”.

Your business review is now posted. You can edit or delete the review if necessary.
